Origin & How It’s Made

Squalane is sourced from olives through a hydrogenation process. Olive oil is first refined to extract squalene, which is then stabilized into squalane through gentle hydrogenation, creating a shelf-stable, non-oxidizing emollient suitable for cosmetic use.
