Rosehip Oil
INCI: Rosa Canina Fruit Oil
What It Is
Rosehip seed oil is a lightweight, cold-pressed oil extracted from the seeds of wild rose bushes. It’s naturally rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin A, and antioxidants, making it a go-to oil for supporting skin regeneration, tone, and texture.
Why We Use It
We use rosehip oil to help reduce the appearance of scars, fine lines, and uneven skin tone. Its high content of linoleic and linolenic acid supports the skin barrier, while its gentle vitamin A content encourages smoother, brighter-looking skin over time.
Origin & How It’s Made
Rosehip oil is sourced from the seeds of Rosa canina rose hips, typically grown in South America and Europe. The seeds are dried and cold-pressed without heat or solvents to retain the oil’s potent nutrients and lightweight, fast-absorbing texture.
