Shea Butter

INCI: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter

What It Is

Shea butter is a creamy, nutrient-rich fat extracted from the nuts of the African shea tree. Naturally packed with fatty acids, vitamins A and E, and anti-inflammatory compounds, it deeply nourishes, softens, and protects the skin.

Why We Use It

We use shea butter to provide long-lasting moisture, support skin elasticity, and create a rich, soothing base in our formulations. It’s especially beneficial for dry, sensitive, or irritated skin needing gentle, replenishing care.

Origin & How It’s Made

Shea butter is sourced from the nuts of the Vitellaria paradoxa tree, native to sub-Saharan Africa. The nuts are harvested, dried, roasted, and then cold-pressed or mechanically extracted to release the butter, which is then filtered and minimally processed to retain its natural nutrients.
